I can't decide so I'm voting for two:

Seems like this is hanging right now.
If it doesn't come back up within the next couple hours, I'll extend
the voting period...

Looks like it's back to life.

Hi there,
just found this group cause I'm interested in Ruport and I must say
(no offense): Those are quite terrible logos and basically, they're
all just variations of two different ones. The train for new proposals
has, however, already left, I suppose?
Moritz
If you have a better logo to show, we'll look at it.
Hi Gregory,
alrighty, I've asked a friend who is more skilled than me to whip
something up!
Just to be sure: I didn't mean to sound impolite, I just thought I had
to speak my mind since a promising project like this needs a proper
logo -- although I can't promise I can provide one, so keep on voting,
everyone ;)

It is generally better to have something to show before you criticize,
but if you do end up with something, we'll be happy to check it out.
This is because there were 2 contributors and we tried several
variations with feedback from the list.
See the thread " Logo Concept".

Right, I should mention that I'm quite happy with the selection we
have in front of us and think the suggestions from the list made a
real difference.
If the OP thinks he has a good logo concept, it's early enough for us
to at least consider it, but it'd need to happen soon, like within the
next day or two for it to make sense.
Great, expect something tomorrow!
Also I'd like to mention that after toying around a little yesterday,
I find Ruport quite amazing so far--what a relief compared to
JasperReports. Thanks everyone! Maybe I can contribute something in
the near future, too (tutorial- or code-wise).

Glad to hear you like it :)

Both are welcome. We've got a few people writing code, but not many
tutorials. Even small things like adding to the recipe[0] book would
be great.

whoops, the recipes are here:

As DerGuteMoritz announced, we got some quite late submission for a
possible ruport-logo. Been working on this the last hour and please
see this as a preview, I'm surely gonna tweak it a bit further. Still
I'd like to hear what you think of it:

The ruport devs haven't finished the second round of voting, so what
I'll do is... if anyone who participated in the popular vote wishes to
change their vote to this logo, they may do so within the next 24
hours. We will recalculate the scores then and restart our developer
voting.'
So if this is your new favorite, just let us know.

Yep, I love it. I really like how it works in both the nickname and
full name of the project. It also combines the words well in the
logo. I'm a fan.

I made two more versions (just slight changes of the first logo):

Best regards and thanks for the compliment :)

Yeah, this is the one.
So if this is your new favorite, just let us know.
I like it too.
I have to be honest. We did put a lot of effort into our other
selections, but this design is better than mine :)
+1
I think it's safe to say that we'll seriously consider using this for our logo.
There are two major requirements:
1) We'd need it in an open format for editing / resizing.
2) We'd need it under a permissive license. It looks like it uses the
Ruby Identity package, so is it reasonable to assume it's a
Share-and-Sharealike CC license?
#1 doesn't rellay exist anymore, #2 is a replacement of #1. Anyhow #2
and #3 can be found here:

CC Share-and-Sharealike sounds fine to me, I'm giving the decsision in
your hands :)
I would honestly be happy to see my design on your great piece o'
software :)
Best regards,
Daniel Dormann
