Emerald Ave., Ortigas, Pasig City
It will be an informal meetup. No long talks. Everyone is invited to
do a 5-minute talk on any (Ruby-related) topic. Show your favorite
gems, your IDE (IDE? gasp) setup, your .bash_profile, your .irbrc.
Whatever.
For my part I'll do a very quick talk, "Ruby Hacking Secrets From
Barney Stinson" which is really just a code demo of the fb_graph gem.
PS. Exist will be having a recruitment party tomorrow at the TechBar,
from 7pm-10pm. Live band + free beer + free pizza.

I'm in. I'm one of those Rad will gasp at - I prefer IDE's and actually use RubyMine - yes, the paid commercial one. I was just dissatisfied with Netbeans, found RubyMine quite good, used the early access version which expires and had to be reinstalled monthly for a while, then jumped at buying it when they offered a sale when Netbeans announced they will discontinue support for Rails. I haven't fully explored all its capabilities yet - will try to do so in time for Thursday.

Thank you to everyone who attended the meetup last night. We had a good turnout, around 20 people. 6 people gave a presentation.
