Dear Greg,

As technology continues to reshape the dynamic environments we operate
in, innovation continuous to grow as a key ingredient needed to
maintain competitiveness in the increasingly complex global
marketplace. Globe has always recognized this, and maintains
innovation as a cornerstone value to perpetually enrich our customers'

As one of its innovation initiatives, Globe will be having the 2008

Shangri-La. The conference theme will be "Enriching Lives through
Innovative Communications", which encapsulates our interests on how

value to existing and new customers by:
· Lowering the cost or improving the quality of Globe's existing services

· Making services easier and more relevant to use

to use for application development
3) Kick-off the Globe Labs Challenge, a competition to develop
applications based on the convention's theme
4) Share technology information relevant to the development of
applications for the Telecommunications industry

If you are interested to join the convention, kindly sign-up as an
Institution with Globe Labs through our portal (www.globelabs.com.ph

registration code that will be used by your members to sign-up for the

Trains coming from the south will be less crowded than those coming from the
north. Those in the latter will have to be at the station by 6am, maybe
6:30am at the latest, to avoid the crowds, and even the former may be too
late. Those from the south should have an easier time. If I were commuting,
I might take the bus instead. If I were taking a car, I don't think it makes
much difference either way, because I'm familiar with the south-bound
traffic only from Shaw Blvd onwards.

As for me, I live near the area so I'm walking :) How considerate of Globe
Labs to hold the event in a place other than Makati <weg>

crud that was what i was actually fearing: having to go really early to beat the morning rush hour(registration is at 7:30-8:45 and i'm guessing it won't be on the dot so going there early means we'll have to wait til about 9-930) but then going there late will be suicide since it will be rush hour. crap. i guess going early + waiting is better then...besides it's a hotel anyways hehehe thanks for the input!

Ditto on the presentation, dude. Too bad about the minor hitch at the
start. I think that might've had something to do with your X config
file -- xorg.conf? Had the same thing also, on an Acer with my
FreeBSD. Dunno if Jerome's experienced the same thing. Anyway, I
*think* your future experiences with LCD projectors should be more
positive if you reconfig X, this time attaching an external monitor.
