To host a coderetreat, only a few guidelines need to be followed.
- Coderetreat lasts for a day
- Event must be free, funded by sponsors
- A facilitator is found to guide the participants through the day
- Lunch should be something good, catered; my rule is that if you are willing to come out at 8 in the morning to spend the day coding, you deserve more than just pizza for lunch
It's less structured, and requires less prep work.
Regarding the format of the event itself: We can do it RailsCamp
style. If you want to do a 'talk', or work on a project, just announce
it (preferably before the event so that people know what to expect).
People who want to listen to you will look for you, you find a table,
gather around your laptop, and that's it. So we don't have to have one
central activity involving everyone. I can do a Corona SDK workshop
and only three people will be interested. Others will be more
Valdez. Or an Ultimate Sex Positions talk from...
What do you think?
We're meeting up tomorrow 5 PM.
But for some reason I'm out (to roam around like a tourist) all day
tomorrow so you can just text/ tweet/ send pm via Facebook/ whichever
is more convenient for you.
F.Y.I, I found out many function rooms on hotels like Microtel are
free if you book x number of rooms/ buy food. Will check tomorrow.
To those interested, this is a simple registration form:
There's no more Atenara House. It's now a Korean school.
But 4 people will no longer worry. Already booked! It's done. No need
to overthink and compare prices. I. think transient houses in Baguio
are often overpriced and not worth the money for short stay.

Look forward to seeing you all this Saturday!
You said the place can accommodate 25. That's ok!
Anyone else attending?
4 more people can join.
Keeping the group small because of venue and resources!:D
Feel free to join.
This event is smaller and less organized the PHRUG meetups. We've yet
to figure out stuff when we meet.
I'm planning to take the Victory Liner Friday 1130pm Cubao-Baguio
trip. Arrival time at Baguio will be between 5-6pm.
Anyone interested in to take the same trip?
I'm planning to reserve tickets on Wednesday.
Pwde po bang malaman ang exact address nung venue?
I advise you to join Rad if possible.
See you all!!
It's a hackathon.
Less talk, more action!!!
In my case, I will just eat. That's still action.

WHOA WHOA WHOA. Slow down. The last time someone said "more action"
