Oops, lookitthat, Iforgot to deal with that spam from awhile ago.
Thanks for the reminder. Hey, I only thought there was one, not 4 or
5. Others must've been caught by my spam filter...? Anyway, I killed
them off.
I made you a manager too, Roger. As always, your willingness to put
energy into stuff like this is amazing and admirable. (Sorry, but it
doesn't come with a raise, too. ;)

Oh, and I've also turned on 'messages from new members are moderated',
which is what you wanted, I think. We'll see how that works out.
(Unless you had some other setting you wanted to tweak, in which case,
feel free.) I always like things to be as open as possible, but this
way is probably better.

Speaking of optimizations...I saw some interesting rubinius benchmarks
the other day
http://www.infoq.com/news/2010/01/ruby-vm-roundup-rubinius-dtrace
shows it apparently "twice as fast" as 1.9 in some benchmarks.
I'm still not convinced this means they are doing call site
optimization right, though....I think it should be even faster than
that...
