topic proposal: multi-threading

Thought I'd submit a topic proposal for Ruby Manor 4: - I'd love it if someone could present/propose on this topic (not me, yet :)):

Topic:  Useful code examples for multi-threaded apps in a Ruby 2.0 / Rails 4.0 world.

Basic building blocks and tips would be very helpful and interesting to many, I think.
