I have no experience in releasing gems, though, so that would be a bumpy ride at first.

I haven't been active in a long time, but have noticed
that Rory has been busy. Rory has my vote as well.

Unless there's an objection to your acclamation by 6pm EDT tomorrow,
I'll start getting things ready for you to be the owner of the project
on all fronts. The good news is that gem releases are fairly easy, and
if people want to get some stuff ready for a release around May 1st,
I'll be able to provide you some feedback before then to help you
understand how easy it is.
