Parent node labels not being applied

Hi, I hope I've missed something obvious in the following:

I've adapted Automating Data Visualization with Ruby and Graphviz to my use case, but I am finding that the labels I add to the Parent nodes are not being applied.

I've posted an example gist.

In the gist the nodes labelled h1a_1_a , etc. should have the label 'Parent a' etc.

Is this a bug for have I missed something?

Appreciate any hints or tips.
