Is this an active group?

I've been digging in to understanding the ruby-fs-stack gem, and I've
noticed some problems with the sample files from a read person/
pedigree perspective. Has anyone else had any problems with the sample
files? For example, on the 4_big_pedigree.rb file, towards the end of
the file there is some code for printing the contents to a marshalled
file - but this doesn't work. I've had to change the line of code to
read:

Marshal.dump(my_pedigree,f)

Also, if I understand correctly, the higher numbered sample files are
supposed to provide access to methods that can reference Person detail
(for information not included in the initial pedigree reads). It
doesn't work either.

I'm a little surprised that with a gem that has been around this long,
that there are still errors in the sample documentation.

It makes me wonder...with limited activity in this discussion group -
I'm trying to understand if this is an active project or not. It looks
like the project was well maintained several years ago, but may not be
active now. Anyway, I just wanted to take a quick sounding before
committing to working with this gem.

This group has not been very active recently. I have not been developing anything new with this gem for a while now, but I would like to see your problems solved. Which version of ruby are you using? And which operating system?

I'll try to get you a response on the sample code you are having problems with.
