FFI::StructLayout::CharArray in JRuby?

I have a library that I wrote with FFI (https://github.com/mydoghasworms/nwrfc) and now I wanted to try it with JRuby.

However, after requiring ffi in JRuby, there is no class FFI::StructLayout::CharArray. (My library enhances FFI::StructLayout::CharArray to get values from UTF16-encoded strings).

Can someone explain why I cannot see this class in the JRuby version of FFI?
