DClient timeout being ignored in test?

When I run:

pacsCENTRO = DClient.new("192.168.4.32", 11112, {host_ae: "PACSCENTRO", timeout: 2}).test

with an offline server, I expected the result to be false after two seconds if there is no response from the server. Instead, the process hangs indefinitely.

Am I doing this wrong?

Thanks for reporting this issue. It seems to have been a bug in the ruby-dicom network code which has been fixed in the github master branch.
