Title: SharePoint Developer
Location - Northern VA
Duration 6 months+
You shall provide services to design and develop target applications or
other destinations that will contain the migrated Lotus Notes (LN)
applications.
The work in the area includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
• Prepare and enhance existing target applications
• Design and develop new applications
• Prepare other destinations for retired LN applications
• Alter existing applications to remove LN components
• Prepare application environment and prepare users for the migration
• Utilizing LN data export functions and customer approved
Extract-Transform-Load tools to extract and cleanse data and other
contents from LN applications and migrate them into the target
destination
• Conducting after migration testing and remediation
• Training the trainers to use the new system
• Obtaining owner sign-off of the completion of the migration
• Archiving retired LN databases for historical/audit purposes
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 year SharePoint development and administration experience
• Minimum 5 years application development experience using Microsoft .Net framework
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Active Directory and develop databases in SQL Server 2005/2008
• Direct development experience on SharePoint 2010, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer and various other .NET components
• Experience in establishing SharePoint extranet and developing applications in SharePoint extranet
• Experience in developing scripts and/or utilizing ETL data migration tools to extract, cleanse and import data
• Experience in investigating and resolving SharePoint performance
issues, such as front end web server performance, indexing performance,
and Structured Query Language (SQL) performance.
• Experience in using various techniques to troubleshoot issues on
SharePoint configurations, Business Data Catalog (BDC) applications,
and web parts
• Experience in designing and implementing application system
architectures, security architecture for systems, and information
architecture
• Experience in installing SharePoint in a highly available server
farm environment as well as configuring SSL, Domains, and Single
Sign-On (SSO)
• Experience in integrating application systems and developing API and web services
