It's not often I take time for congratulations, but ya'll deserve it. Job well done for Bundler!

I'm the maintainer for the SQL Server adapter and having authored gems for years now, this tool is amazing and has changed my work flow fundamentally. Used in combination with RVM and gemsets, it is simply amazing what can be done. The fact that I can develop the adapter against local paths of both rails and arel was something that required the upmost hackery back in the day. I've been chuckling to myself for a good month now as these tools have conspired to make my life easier and strengthen the code I write. Kudos and keep up the good work!!!

 - Thanks,

I would like to second this nod. I have had no easier time in the history of developing software getting a new development environment setup and running. Additionally, it makes it easy for the people I work for, who do not code, to easily run the application on their laptops.

Thank you,

P.S. Thank you, Ken, for starting this thread!

Also, agreed! Bundler is now a key part of my workflow for every
project I work on. Thanks again to the team for slogging through all
the crazy environment bugs to get it to where it is now.

word. We had no way of mapping our system to application dependencies
until bundler came around. Its significantly improved our workflow and
made our ops team very happy. Provisioning production nodes is a
breeze now with chef+bundler

Yep, mad props 2 ya. I wrote GemInstaller as an attempt to solve this
problem when I first came to Ruby, and it was an imperfect solution at
best, because it is set problems which are hard to understand, much
less solve correctly. I remember talking for years with Yehuda about
this mythical tool which would get it right, and eventually it got
written:

I loved and hated bundler at first. I should have expected less from
pre 1.0 versions of software :) Now I love it. When I work on an old
project, the first thing I do is switch it over to use bundler. My
hate has completely melted away. What an amazing tool. Great job!
