Bundler's errors and stdout

Good day!

I'm confused very much why Bundler outputs fatal errors to stdout rather than stderr (at least by default).

???

It's because originally, Bundler didn't even distinguish between error and success output. Bundler 2.0 will print errors to stderr.

Because it's very strange to execute

bundle exec program > program.out

and see

Could not locate Gemfile or .bundle/ directory

in program.out... Even if console (stderr) is clear.
