Bio-metrics fingerprint technology integrating into ruby on rails

Can any one help how to implement finger print technology in ruby on
rails.

My requirement is capturing the fingerprint, store it in database and
when a person visits the office, i need to display details of that
particular person by capturing his/her finger print.

can any one got idea???
please help me.
