Its a complicated scenario, but basically we don't want users
distributing the direct S3 link. We want them to use a redirection,
but the URL is dynamic so we don't want to hardcode it. And yes, we
are currently using AWS, but without any access policies.
So, my original question is, can we use AWS to create a policy such
that it only responds to redirects, but doesn't care what the
referring URL is?
