S3, timeout connection on long put

Hi,

I am using the aws gem to put objects to S3. I was wondering if there
is an easy way to timeout the connection if the put takes too long?
Sometimes S3 hiccups causing the put connection to stay active for >
10 min. Can I set a timeout so the connection dies after 10-20
seconds?

Not directly in the gem, but you could use Ruby's timeout:
