Bryan is describing the status of the current Arduino release
candidate. RAD should work fine with Arduino 0017, which is their most
recent already released version.
If you encounter any problems, come back here and let us know.
yours,
Greg
I have the 0.3.0 RAD gem from "madrona-rad" branch in github, and it
only seems to work with Arduino-015. When I change software.yml to use
017 I get
No such file or directory ... Applications/Arduino/hardware/
boards.txt
Looks like Arduino 015 and 016 for Mac install a regular folder at the
top level (which contains hardware/boards.txt etc.) while 017 installs
the Arduino app itself at the top level.
Should I be using a different RAD gem?
Thanks --- Sophie
on osx boards.txt is at :
017 <installed_path>/Arduino.app/Contents/Resources/Java/hardware/
boards.txt
018 <installed_path>/Arduino-018rc1.app/Contents/Resources/Java/
hardware/arduino/boards.txt
what is the folder structure on win and linux ?
