Technovation Invites Abstracts for 2013

Hi folks,

Did you ever have an idea but you just couldn't get it going? Innovative technologies are the foundation of everything exciting around you whether its Virtual reality, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing or the Internet which you use so much. But innovating new technologies needs money, inspiring leaders, dedicated teams and experience. This is where Technovation steps in.

What is Technovation?

Technovation is a platform for students to float innovative projects, recruit teams, get funded, find mentors and realize their dream projects. Put simply its an expressway to innovation.

How is it different from ITSP ? (Institute Technical Summer Project)

To summarize: Larger Budget,Bigger teams, Better ideas and More Challenging

Here you will be working on better ideas , something which as more of practical application and more challenging even something that has not been tried till now.So its lot more work.Also here you will be having a better dedicated team selected by you.

How to apply?

We believe passion, desire and willpower are the most important qualities to be successful and hence instead of floating projects, we are inviting students to pitch in their ideas and be team leaders. These ideas need to be submitted in the form of an abstract detailing the technical aspects (details can he found here). Best 10 innovative ideas with technological solutions would be selected on the basis of an interview. Leaders will then be asked to announce profiles for team members in an orientation session and best candidates would be selected to form teams. Freshmen would be allowed to participate after mid semester.

The joy of innovation and you become a part of technical community and meet like minded innovators. What's more, you stand a good chance of receiving Technical awards, Undergraduate Research Awards ( *URA * ) and of course a great innovation absolutely stands out in your resume.Plus if you complete your project, we help you commercialize it. Isn't that awesome ? To have a product of your own.

This innovation program has the largest budget of all technical bodies.( We are not lying..:P)

We're calling out to leaders and innovators to pitch in with an abstract of their project idea.We can help you refine your abstract, if you let us know well in advance.

If you think you are just not ready yet to float a project in your own right and want to gain some experience and insight ,we'll be holding a senior orientation where all the accepted project ideas would be exhibited. You can apply for a profile in your project of interest and be a team member. 

Guys, Technovation is back, with bigger teams, larger budget, higher expectations and better than ever ideas.
