Hello guys,

This is our first official post, so I thought it's a good idea to
outline the main ideas behind this group. So I'll start counting and
plz remind me if i forgot to mention anything.

1-A place for the local community.
2-A place to address technical issues.
3-A place to share ideas and thoughts.
4-An address book.

Awesome, I was wondering how ROR is doing in Syria. I'm glad to hear
a new Rails group is coming together. I'm still in the USA, but I'd
like to move back to the Middle East, and I'm excited to know that
this group exists. Do you guys meet at all?

If everyone has access to a fast internet connection, I can easily put
together a virtual meeting room, with presentation and voice goodness
so we can do presentations like the regular Ruby meetings in the
States . Try to get Syrians across the globe to join in the fun and
share their experience and knowledge. Would anyone be interested?
