Dear Fellow Presidents/ Secretaries

Namaste and very warm Greetings!

Let me thank you all for your presence and active participation in the 1st PS Meet at Bhaktapur last week. Everyone was informed of special situation  related with 8th Rotaract District Conference arose since the very beginning of this rota year. My version in this regards is not different than many of yours. I too wanted to come up with finding and settle down the things and I facilitated in best possible way. I say all this not to whitewash the challenges we face, or to suggest complication, rather I believe that we need to acknowledge each valuable achievements in order to summon the confidence to carry this prestigious movement forward.  And to make sure that we do not abandon improvement of those very things that has delivered progress of Rotaract. In order to move forward thorough we also have to acknowledge that the existing things needs reinforcement.

Some rumor have been developed or caused to develop like  “Hari is silent so something is wrong with Hari or Hari is guilty, Hari is not replying emails” etc..  Let me clear this, I was silent because the very first RDC Meeting held on 2nd July asked all the RDC Members including me not to respond anything until the decision from Rotary District won't be shared to RDC/DRR. I personally could not disrespect the decision and mandate of that forum. Few of mine  friends  wanted me to speak up whereas few of them  wanted me to cooperate in investigation. By giving my opinion in public, I didn't want to  intervene in the study of findings made out of the information submitted from/to all level.

  

With regard to the information shared to the floor of 1st PS Meet, I would like to first thank DRR, DRCC, RI Program Chair, & District Governor Rtn. Jaya Rl Shah. Me, as your DRR for RY 2017-18, I strongly condemn any malpractices and I have zero tolerance towards anybody doing and involved in any illegitimate  acts. I strongly discourage such happening and waited for long time respecting investigation so that  truth can float among all. I would always thrive for the improvement and prosperity of prestigious Rotaract movement of RI district 3292. I shower my strong commitment among all for the same.

Therefore, I would like to share few concern related to this case:

1. I was in campaign and lobby during election (as every other candidate/s); it was my home club who supported me as a candidate of DRR, but I  can never imagine how far can someone go for the support; but believe me my intention was to win election but with fair practice. And right after election result, candidates, their representatives and election committee agreed to respect the decision.
   
   

2. My sponsoring club also conducted one level of clarification session with Rotaractors from my club. And they have in fact taken a strong decision against those who disturbed whole Rotaract District and home club. I hope all will consider the decision. Though i’m not comfortable sharing such matter in email to all.

3. I have zero tolerance for any unethical activities and actions in Rotaract Movement.

4. Regarding decision of DRCC’s committee: I always  appreciate their time and effort in finding the lapses and giving their way forward in PS meet.   

Finally, I assure that both the voices as well as voice of silence of all aware, committed, sensible and self motivated Rotaractors will directly or indirectly strengthen myself and our fraternity as a whole in the days to come.  

Let us all spread peace, love, harmony and goodwill.

Greetings

It's really great to see your email and hear your version for the first time . The choas and the scenario had obviously confused many and the silence was also questionable when such situation prevails. Regarding the issue I hope your address was mandatory to clarify the doubts.
