Dear Fellow Rotaractors,

Warm Greetings on behalf of Rotaract District Committee!

We have already completed 2 months of this Rota Year 2016-17 and I am overwhelmed witnessing the different club activities and projects you all have been doing all over. In reference to previous mail from Community Service Avenue, I would like to introduce you one of the initiatives of Rotaract District Nepal “ROTARACT NATIONWIDE CLEANING CAMPAIGN”.

Please find the details below:

Project:ROTARACT NATIONWIDE CLEANING CAMPAIGN

Background: There are altogether 105 Rotaract Clubs all over the nation in our RI District 3292, Nepal and Bhutan. Few of the rotaract clubs have been doing cleaning projects as part of celebration of some international days as well as Rotaract district Nepal too, as partner in service collaborating with various organizations organized the same in previous years. The effectiveness of One day event is far less than the event done in regular basis (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) with regular follow ups. Reviewing and analyzing our previous activities, we intend to make this campaign more impactful and structured now onwards.

Objectives: The main objective of project is to encourage each individual rotaract clubs from 11 different zones of our district to participate in campaign. Clubs need to select a heritage site in their own community viz. Temple, Mosque, Church, Parks, cultural heritage site, any tourist areas and carry out cleaning campaign. The campaign will be organized in quarterly basis (First Saturday of October i.e. 1st Oct 2016, First Saturday of February i.e. 4th February 2017, First Saturday of May i.e. 6th May 2017). The cleaning campaign can be carried out by club individually or as a joint project with other rotaract clubs of same zone or as twin project among twin clubs or zonal joint project as per feasibility.

How to be part of campaign?

To participate in campaign, follow these simple steps.
