Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and 2nd largest fresh water lake in the world. Its area is 26,828 square miles (69,484 square km). Among the freshwater lakes of the world, it is exceeded in size only by Lake Superior in North America. On Ugandan side, the lake is served by only 3 luxury passenger boats of 24, 50 & 54 passengers. Like Canada, Uganda is blessed with numerous beautiful lakes & rivers e.g. Lake Albert, Lake Kyoga, Lake Edward, Lake George, Lake Mburo, Lake Bunyonyi, River Nile, River Kagera, River Aswa, River Kafu, River Katonga and many others, some of these water resources exit in tourism hot sports e.g. National Parks & Game Reserves. They lack modern tourism boats.
