Thursday Meetup [indoor location]

Dear Research-Triangle Rats and Rat-adjacents,

Our usual Thursday meeetup is tomorrow, 8:00-10:00 at The Glass Jug.

Note the new time/location!

The weather is doing its whole Winter shtick, and unfortunately Durham Food Hall has decided to start hosting trivia night on Thursdays. I'm still looking for more optimal locations for the Thursday and Saturday meetups during inclement weather, but for now we'll meet at The Glass Jug.

So why weren't we doing Glass Jug before?

1) Notice we're starting a little later than usual, Glass Jug has an event scheduled till 8

2) There isn't much food there, I recommend going to DFH first, ordering some food, and then come to Glass Jug. When your food is ready, you can go grab it and bring it to Glass Jug. According to the bartender at Glass Jug, they don't mind us bringing in outside food and also the DFH pagers should work there!

I hope to see you there for beer, food, and engaging conversation.

- There will be an 11x8.5 sign on the table that says "ACX/LW Meetup"

- You can parallel park on Foster St. I recommend driving northbound on Foster and taking the first open spot you see after passing Seminary Ave. I've never needed to park south of Seminary, but I can't reliably find a spot north of Hunt St. Don't go past Corporation St, street parking sucks up there.
- There's also a small parking deck in the DFH building, accessible from Corporation St (turn right if northbound on Foster). The bartender at the food hall can validate your ticket.

That's right, it's gonna be a cold night so we're meeting at Glass Jug. DFH is still hosting Trivia on Thursdays, but there's no even at Glass Jug so it's the usual time, 7:30.
