Monthly Meetup This Saturday!

Dear Research-Triangle Rats and Rat-adjacents,

The next Saturday Meetup is this week, Saturday, July 05, at American Tobacco Campus. This is a monthly Schelling point meetup. There's no Thursday meetup this week.

I hope many of you can find the time to come out and join us this month.

Details

• Where: American Tobacco Campus, Durham (334 Blackwell St, Durham NC 27701)
• When: Saturday, Saturday, July 05, 2pm-5pm
• How to find us: We'll be in front of Boricua Soul, with this sign. If you can see the baseball stadium, then head West; there's a building in the way but you can walk through it or around it.
• Amenities: ATC has various restaurants and bars, and bathrooms. It's outdoors but has covered areas. Lots of seating, some grassy areas. Lots of street parking, but you may need to drive around.

In honor of the 4th of July weekend, I think it would be fun to spend some time talking about the state of the country.

I know! It's a heavy topic at the moment. But that also means there's value in trying to separate rhetoric from reality.

Where do you actually think things are going?

Also, I will be bringing flags. And possibly a watermelon.
