I've got things mostly running on my Pi running Raspbian. I just realized that 22.11 is what shows up using apt-get install rtl-433  with the default repositories. Looks to be a good ways behind the current 24.10. https://repology.org/project/rtl-433/versions as noted in the documentation agrees it's old. Is there a repository I can add with the current version? Or should I apt remove it & deploy a docker version or compile from source? would be convenient to keep everything up to date with apt.

Leave it installed for the dependencies, but use a binary from https://github.com/merbanan/rtl_433/releases
Just try both OpenSSL version to see which works, also armhf for 32-bit Pi otherwise arm64.
