LaCrosse-TX141Bv3 outdoor humidity data not shown, temperature OK.

I read some past posts regarding decoding failures and I concluded that it was no longer an issue, except, perhaps, for me.

If someone would point this appliance operator in the right direction, I would be thankful.

How are you viewing the data?  What command line switches/parameters are you using?

Does the TX141Bv3 have humidity hardware even? We only decode humidity from the "TH" versions like TX141TH(-Bv2).

Use

-R 73:v

and watch the codes. The 4th byte would be the humidity and then the 5th should be checksum. But codes we have seen are only 32/33 bit. No humidity data.

RTL_433 shows my sending unit as a LaCrosse-TX141Bv3, and shows 2
identical lines of temperature data each time it transmits. No humidity
data.

The varied responses prompted me to RTF!

So...:

The consumer "documentation sheet" cover page identifies the transmitter
and receiver as "Models: 1409BTV4 / 308-1409WTV4 DC:030922".

The second page shows a line drawing of the "Outdoor Sensor TX141-Bv4",
and "Wireless Thermometer 308-1409BTv4 or 308-1409WTv4".


The transmitting sensor assembly is marked as "Model TX141-BV4",
identified by RTL_433 as a "LaCrosse-TX141Bv3"


As an ol' dog/appliance operator, knowing nothing about coding, I
apparently forgot to rtf (sheet) before asking about that which does not
exist.

My, apology to those who cared to respond to an ol' dog's foolish query ;-).

Well one interesting thing is that there is a LaCrosse TX141-Bv4 and it seems identical to LaCrosse-TX141-Bv3.
