The Gujarat HC has struck down the appointment of 2 ICs in the Gujarat SIC

on the grounds that the selection committee did not discuss the "eminence" or the "wide knowledge...."

of the candidates and nor did they specify the same at the time of selection/appointment, as per Namit Sharma 2 judgment of the apex court.
