I'm curious to see what fixes, changes, etc, have gone into 0.2.8 and
wanted to know if there was a rough estimate on a release date. The
only reason I'm asking is I want to modify some of the code, but would
rather do it to a up to date version of the code. I just barely
started to look into the code a week or so back seeing what I'd like
to do to it and was hoping to begin it this coming week as I'm off all
week from work.

Theres nothing specific I'm looking to implement as most of the
features I want are already in place. By far, this is the best
rtorrent front end I've seen so far. I cant stand the likes of
wtorrent anymore and I dont much like rutorrent. None of the other
I've found have been a happy experience either. So being this ones the
one I'm going to be using, I wanted to see what I could change to make
it better for all involved. Even something like a template or style
system would be a nice plus to many people who use rtGui. (The first
thing I did was modify the colors, then a bunch of classes to make it
more pleasing to my eyes.)

As much as I'd like a SVN style system to get the most up to date, it
seems to be counterproductive on a smaller project that wont see a ton
of changes version to version. So 0.2.8 it is :)

Thanks,

Hi Pyr0...

RtGui has not been getting much attention from me recently - due to
'personal' projects - ie, a new baby in the family :)

The only improvements I've been working on are with the filtering of
trackers - adding the ability to filter by tracker group (as defined
in the config.php file), and to invert the current filter (show all
except selected tracker).

For the future, I have considered a template system to allow for
easier customisation, but have not started any work on it...

I'd like to see what improvements you've made - so share them!

Cheers
Simon.

The main changes I've made are all design based. Then I made sure the feed reader integrated with those colors properly. I'll look into working on it as more of a template system design over the next week, as I'm off most of it. I'll send a link to a running version of it in a few days once I get some work in on it. thanks for the response though, much appreciated. and great app, love it.
