Hi all,
please excuse me for my poor english, it's not my native language and
I'm pretty sure I do many mistakes ..
@RapidServerz : it's definitely time consuming, and maintaining
several frontends does not help, lol. Let me finish it and I'll share
it, no problem for me ... ;)
In the end, we'll see if Simon will post the final skin on official
rtgui website or not, 'cause as I said, for now I only slightly
modified some php files, but to go further I need to change much more
code (can't easily skin select markups, I have to entirely explode the
form and implement it with divs ... and I have to rewrite submodal's
frames).
@elartista0 : hum, looks kinda "hard" to reduce height on displayed
torrents, since there are 2 lines shown by torrent .. I thought about
putting all info on the same line, but the layout will definitely be
wider and I'm not sure it would suit Simon's primary goal (ie: display
on TV or mobile devices). But if we implement the templating system,
each user could choose which layout he prefers, so why not ?!
@Simon : many things to do, but so little time .. same here ;)
Yep that's what I saw : for now, my skin is (nearly) entirely done
with a CSS file since I didn't want to impact php files, but in the
end I had to modify some divs and had a spacer before the
bottomtab ... but if I want to go further (skin select markup or
properly skin submodal's views), I need to deeply modify your code.
The templating system sounds like the proper solution, but it requires
a major overhaul of the code, as you said.
I don't know what's the best to do now .. if OK with you I'm gonna
rewrite all final XHTML code to be W3C compliant and export all
properties in CSS files, it should be a good start to properly skin
rtgui.
Hum, I thought I could use torrent's filesystem creation date to do
that, I'll have a look at the thread you mentionned to get history.
Regards,
SanDooo
