UINavigationBar hitboxes

I added a system refresh button to the right side of my navigationbar,
but its hitbox is huge. I can press 40 pixels away on the status bar
and it hits the button. Anyone know how to fix this?

My refresh button in my navbar also has a huge hitbox.
Maybe Apple only wants you to have one rightbarbuttonitem and one left one. The AIM app on my iPhone also have a rightbarbuttonitem with a huge hitbox.
