Appeal for testimonies on impacts of COVID and the lockdowns

Dear Friends,
As part of this month of action, we will organize a webinar series titled "The Pandemic and the Welfare State". The first discussion in the series, "Increasing Inequalities" is scheduled for 7 June, 4 - 6 pm (link will be circulated shortly). It will cover overall issues of economic distress and worsening inequality, the lack of preparedness for the second wave in terms of health facilities, and the failure to adequately provide food and social security during this time of crisis. In this context, we request state campaigns to please share video testimonies by people. This could include testimonies of those who struggled to access health facilities during COVID, are in deep economic distress, or are facing severe food shortages. The length of the video must not exceed 3 minutes. Please try to make the videos in Hindi, but if they are in a different language, please also provide a Hindi translation. कोविड और लॉकडाउन के प्रभावों पर वीडियो के लिए अपील
साथियों, इस महीने हम “महामारी और कल्याणकारी राज्य” नामक वेबिनार श्रृंखला आयोजित कर रहे हैं. इस श्रृंखला की पहली चर्चा, “बढ़ती असमानता” 7 जून को शाम 4 से 6 बजे होगी (लिंक जल्द ही भेज देंगे). इसमें आर्थिक असुरक्षा, कोविड की दूसरी लहर के लिए तैयारी का अभाव, और अपर्याप्त सामाजिक सुरक्षा पर बात होगी. इस सन्दर्भ में हम राज्य अभियानों से आग्रह कर रहे हैं कि वे कुछ ऐसे लोगों के वीडियो बनाए जिनको कोविड के दौरान स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ नहीं मिली, जो आर्थिक तंगी से जूझ रहे हैं, या जिन्हे खाद्य असुरक्षा का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. कृपया वीडियो अधिकतम 3 मिनट लम्बे बनाए. वीडियो हिंदी में बनाने की कोशिश करें, पर अगर वे हिन्दी में न हो, तो साथ में उनका हिन्दी अनुवाद ज़रूर भेजे. वीडियो 7 जून (सोमवार) को सुबह 11 बजे तक WhatsApp द्वारा 7985946875 पर भेजे.
