New page added to the CLLWG:
Welcome to the RtF - Cognitive Language and Learning Working Group!

Feel free to post your comments, ideas, and discussion to the mailing
list. Please remember to stay on the topic of accessibility features
for people with cognitive, language, and learning disabilities and/or
literacy problems, and to be respectful of other contributors'
viewpoints.

A reminder of what this group is all about: The Cognitive, Language,
and Learning Working Group (CLLWG) is focused on advancing Web access
for people with cognitive, language, and learning (CLL) disabilities.
It also will, to some extent, address the needs of people with
literacy problems until a separate group forms to address this
important and related population.

The objective of this group is to identify the needs and preferred
access features of people with various types of cognitive, language,
and learning disaibilities. This group will work in conjunction with
RtF's Access Features MasterList group to determine necessary features
to transform web content into a form that is easy to use and intuitive
for people with CLL disabilities. It will also serve as the initial
area for discussion of literacy issues, which will later be formed
into a separate working group.

One deliverable from this group will be a list of potential solutions
and an analysis of their relative usefulness to people with different
CLL disabilities. This group will communicate with software
exploration, research, and development projects to experiment with new
technologies and methods.
