GTFS-RT is now available!
RTD operates bus, light rail, commuter rail and paratransit in the greater Denver area. It has 138 fixed routes and serves over 340,000 customers daily. For more information, please visit www.rtd-denver.com.
After months of hard work and anticipation, RTD is excited to announce that real time arrival predictions and vehicle location data are now available to developers. Schedule data for RTD's fixed-route bus and rail system is available in GTFS format, and real time vehicle locations and arrival predictions for bus service are now available in GTFS-realtime format. We’re excited to see what you build with our real time data.

RTD is also developing an API that will be available in 2016. The API will allow mobile applications and websites to retrieve data as-needed, for specific modes, routes, or stops.
The release of real-time data feeds for bus services is the first phase of an initiative that will make similar information available for RTD’s light rail and commuter rail services in the future.
We encourage developers to create applications based on these data feeds to provide real-time information to transit riders in the region. Applications using this data may be showcased on the RTD website.
