Delete/Remove RapidTASK account.

Hello Everyone,

I've been trying RapidTASK for about 2 weeks now and I really do like it. But there seems to be a lack of support by the publisher and I can't continue to use a service the seemingly ignores its users. Additionally there have been promises of mobile apps (Android and iOS) going back to 2010 with no app available even after almost 3 years.

I have searched for a way to delete my RapidTASK account from there system and there seems to be no way to do that. Additionally, requests from other users have gone unanswered as far back as 2011.

I'm writing to let you know that of how I plan on removing the account. Please note the following: I have connected RapidTASK to my regular Google account (not a Google Apps account) so I don't know if this will work for a GApps account. I'm posting this in hopes that it will help others that want to remove their Google accounts from RapidTASK.

1. Delete all tasks within RapidTASK (this is more for clean up)
   
2. Log on to your Google account, click on your avatar and click on the 'Account' link
   
3. Once in your account overview click on 'Security'
4. When you are in the security center scroll down to the "Connected applications and sites" section and click the "Manage access" button
5. Log in again to access the list of applications that are connected to your account.
6. Scroll through, or "Find on page" search in your browser", and find the entry for "RapidTask — Profile Information" and click the "Revoke Access" button
7. The page will refresh and you'll see a the text "You have successfully revoked access to Profile Information" in red near the top of the web page.

I am not sure if this will completely delete you from their system but at least they won't have access to your profile information any more. I hope this helps someone else. Best of luck.
