Brand spanking new user here. I have searched but didn't find anything on point.

I've created a new list. I've shared it with someone. That person created a new task, assigned to me.

I didn't get an email about it. I created a task for him. He didn't get an email about it.

Is there something we're doing wrong here? If new tasks don't activate emails to the users, this app will not be successful for me.

It does send tasks by email. You should check your account settings under email settings. and at the bottom of the task check "apply to all".

Under Email settings, I see...


SEND CONFIRMATIONS
[ ] when you create new task via email
[ ] when you reply via email
[Save Changes]

PGP / GPG
Your Public Key:
[text area]
[Upload Key]

Both of the check boxes are checked. I do not see an "apply to all" that you refer to, either in the email setting or in the creation of a new task.
