FW: RTA informal 2026 budget meeting

Hi Val,

David and I just had an informal meeting to review the proposed budget.  We can't actually ratify it until we add in a line item for the loan, so there is more to come as the lawyers finalize the loan approvals.

One thing we do need to get done is bring the board back up to at least 4 if not 5 members.  2 spots (Drew and Joe) were elected last year, so they are not up for re-election this year.  If we appoint those two spots they will be in place for the year.

Let me know if you have anyone in mind who you think would make a good addition to the board.

I will be reaching out to a couple people as well.

Daryl, my apologies for missing the meeting, i had had a work emergency and I worked in Hartford today. Thought I could leave in time to make the meeting, unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. Thank you for the update. I will give some thought to board members.
