With monsoon almost packing its bags to say good bye and so many festivals setting in, it is time to look at the mirror and the weighing scale for the reality check. How many kilos have we added, and the most important question is what is the current state of body strength.
We usually look at the calendar and then say tomorrow, monday, 1st of next month and so on... Why not now onwards? And always start with small steps.. yes.. those little steps instead of the lift. Then go for a long walk in the garden or the seashore. Dont just go and take a membership for the year and then keep feeling guilty for not going. Prepare your roadmap for the exercise.
Once you are done with the small steps, then is the time to take bigger steps like a gym membership, jogging, swimming, kick boxing extra... Chose what you like the most, talk to the trainers (not the front desk who just enroll you for membership). Understand your current state of health and what kind of exercise regime should be followed once you start. Then plan your next 3 months and follow it religiously.
Another important aspect is your diet. Just watch what you eat. Keep it simple: low on junk food, high on nutritious home food. And, eat less after 7 pm/ before you sleep. Eat sprouts or fruits between meals if you feel hungry.
If you are able to do the above mentioned things, within 3 months you will feel the change in your body. Come on, give it a try from today... Keep me updated...
