Hi

I am trying to use \text{} in a math statement to havfe the text formatted as ordinary text but it doesn't work. This is an example:

.. math::

   4\sigma_{\epsilon} = 50 \text{m/s}

Any ideas what is wrong with the above?

Best regards

Not really. What rst2pdf does is delegate all that to matplotlib, maybe it doesn't support that.

Ok. I tested the same thing with Matplotlib and got the same results. Strange, since it is very often one wants to mix mathematical expressions with ordinary texts.
