This should be possible. If it is needed - it looks interesting
feature to implement. Bad thing is that how I can imagine to implement
it, there will be no easy configuration, because most probably it will
require some external tool to do actual conversion from MP4 to MP3.
I'll put it as new feature in issue tracker.

That sounds reasonable enough. I think there are a few open source
tools out there that can convert from MP4 to MP3.
