Hi,

I am thinking of packaging rssdler for inclusion in Debian. I have not
done a whole lot of research yet on whether there have been discussions
to do that. Before I do that, I would like to clarify the copyright.

According to the google code page the code is lincensed under the
GPLv2. Is there an official author? Is there a name and preferred
email address for the copyright or would you just prefer
lostnihilist <lostni...@gmail.com>.

Any early suggestions, recommendations etc. are obviously welcome.

Best,

David

GPLv2 is right. I prefer the pseudonym. I'm not sure what trouble you may run
into, there is nothing particularly complicated about the package. Basically,
just a python module for the python library and a python script that gets
thrown in /usr/bin. However, do feel free to contact me with questions or
concerns.

As a note, I'm hoping to do some major refactoring (but I've been hoping to do
that for a while). Splitting things up into multiple modules and allowing
greater flexibility in a number of areas. I don't think this should impact
your packaging now, but it may down the road.

Anyway, thanks for doing this. I would love to see rssdler in apt!
