Did I take inspiration from Sonny, the robot from the movie I, Robot?  Yes.  Did it turn into something potentially interesting?  Also Yes. 

We'll start our talk by taking a look a models, agents, and benchmarks; Turns out characterizing AI intelligence is hard.

Then let's take a look at a robot mind with two brains.  A primary brain like you're used to, and a second brain that judges the primary's actions adversarial-ly.  What could go wrong?  :-)  (Alan)

11:00 am That mysterious glitch you've been chasing through your code? It might not be in your code at all.

In this 30-minute talk, we'll cover electrical best practices for powering custom robots — how to keep motor noise, brownouts, and ground loops from masquerading as software bugs.  Sometimes the fix is as simple as buying parts with protection already built in.
