Just came across this lil guy today.

What this shows me is that 1.25-ish meter (about ~4 foot 1 inches tall) humanoid robots are easy to build with off the shelf components now.  That's crazy.

Height of other short king humanoids:

• The unitree G1 is 1.27m tall
• The unitree R1 is 1.21m tall
• The amazon Sprout is 1.07m tall
• The 1x NEO is 1.68m tall

I haven't done the math on the full BOM, at this scale you're machining some aluminum.  (Although I wonder how far you could get with some CF-Nylon PPA prints?)

It looks to be about $5000 in actuators for this configuration, a bit more if you wanted to add in a multi axis waist and/or actuated neck, hands etc.

These guys are using Damiao bldc integrated gearmotors, similar to the RobStride ones it seems.
