To get a feel for what this year is going to be like, look no further than the openclaw project.

Here's a project where:
  • the code was written by AI
  • the users are using it to write code
  • the users are using it to write openclaw code to improve openclaw itself
  • the project maintainers are using those same capabilities to manage issues, PRs, and releases
Just check out how many PRs they have in the pipeline.  5176 at this moment. I'm sure alot of them are just junk -- but alot of them definitely are not junk.

And take a look at the contents of the last few releases.  

The software industry doesn't yet have the tools or perspective to manage change at this level.  Well maybe one.

This is what a project looks like where AI, agents, and tooling are incorporated at every level.  This velocity hasn't been seen before.

2026 is going to be wild.
