It's pretty cool. I had it hooked up and working in a few minutes. It's a self contained AI chatbot which you can configure. Yes, it needs an internet connection. I paid about $15 from Amazon.com. For the most part it's free and comes with 10 personalities to choose from. Also, you can create your own. There is a paid level, but you don't really need it as far as I can see.
