Week of Welcome

Hi Guys,

I was thinking. RSSC is an on-campus club. I wonder if the group would be able to table at the CSULB Week of Welcome, and if we are missing an opportunity to grow.

I believe it would require that CSULB students run the group, but they could have adult mentors supporting them. 

Sister cities did an outreach last year, and it is proving extremely rewarding. They have a substantial infusion of college students this year.  I could ask my friend Mary Barton PhD to share the International Friendship Ambassador program so that we could understand her model.

That sounds like a GREAT idea! That could really grow the club. (We might need a bigger room though!) Do any of you remember when Professor Mason used to come to the meetings with his students? That really filled up the room.
