Twain Elementary STEM night

Hi everyone,

Ben suggested I post a note here. My name is Toufan Rahimpour, aerospace engineer by training, now dad to two yutes. I’m helping out with an upcoming STEM Night at Twain Elementary School on May 1 and have been reaching out to different organizations to see if they might be able to offer a hands-on activity station for the kids.

It’s a 2-hour evening program. We expect about 100 students to attend. We have a few community partners coming to the event. One is doing rocket launches, one is bringing baby chicks, one is doing balloon car races, so each is a little different.

We would love to have an interactive robotics demo or activity. If there is anyone who might be interested in doing something, I’d love to talk! Please text or call me at 212-380-3881!
