Loscon52 a nonprofit fan run convention

Hi To all.  My name is Arlene Busby and I am the Programming Chair for Loscon52.  Loscon52 is held over Thanksgiving weekend dates November 27-29, 2026.  The theme this year is Beyond the Unknown.  Our location is the Hilton Los Angeles Airport 5711 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.  I am reaching out to the members of RSSC to participate in programming.  Official invites go out in May or June.  I am reaching out to you now to find any interested parties so I can add you to the official invite list and to run any ideas you may have to add to programming.

As a participant you can do a panel, presentation, demonstration or workshop.  To get a Participant membership we require that you participate in 3 program items.  These program items can take place on one day or spread over the weekend.  For participating in 3 program items you will get a free membership to Loscon52 and free parking.  You will also get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the green room which includes free snacks and drinks.

Loscon history:  Loscon is a fundraising convention for the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society.  For more on LASFS check out there website at lasfs.org.  We also have multiple tracks of programming such as concerts, kids programming, and a video room.  Furthermore, we provide panels on science fiction, fantasy and science to name a few.  Additionally, we provide night programming and room parties which are a must to check out.  In addition to all this we also have a  Makers Room where we can get you a table if you like.

As you can see Loscon has a lot going on and we are hoping you will join us.  As a fan run convention ,of which we are all volunteers, you will never find a more well oiled group of dedicated people that treat participants and attendees like family.  Our goal is to make sure everyone has a good time.
