Hi,

Im Petr, as I see that this group/mailing list is new, I would like to introduce myself, as I dont can see other conversations here so far.

Im a Web dev since 8+ years and work primarly with PHP and LAMP Stack.

My first experience with RSS was through the golden age of the Google Reader, which I miss from the time.

Since then, I always tried to find and use RSS Feeds, because they are neutral, you always the the updates from news sites, no algorithm deciding for you.

And when I had problem with finding an RSS Feed, I build it by myself with PHP and use it daily for automation tasks and posts.

The one thing which always is annoying, that the RSS Feeds have no native solution for featured images for the Feed items, what would be awesome, if the RSS development would be continued, because the RSS enclosure tag is not always been recognized by all readers etc.

Looking forward to see who else is here on board :)
