We should like to bring to your attention the 16th edition of the Greek Stochastics meeting which will take place in Zakynthos, Greece, during 28 - 31 July 2026. 

This year meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Scalable Inference.

The workshop will consist of

  • 3 short courses;
  • a limited number of contributed talks; 
  • poster presentations.

The three short courses will be given by:

  • Lyudmila Grigoryeva @ University St Gallen on "Learning with random neural networks and reservoir systems";
  • Panayiotis Mertikopoulos @ University of Athens, on "Stochastic training methods for deep learning";
  • Chris Nemeth @ Lancaster University on "Scalable Bayesian Inference: Monte Carlo Methods for Modern Data".

Important Dates

  • Deadline for submission of contributed talk: 1st of May 2026
  • Notification of acceptance of contributed talk: 15th of May 2026
  • Deadline for submission of poster presentation: 3rd of July 2026
